2 shot in SW Philly

Two men were hospitalized after they were shot in Southwest Philadelphia Saturday afternoon, and one person was in custody, police said.

About 1:20 p.m., police found a 21-year-old man shot once in the buttocks and a 23-year-old man shot once in his right leg on the 1700 block of South 58th Street, police said.

Both victims were rushed by police to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where they were in stable condition.

Police have not yet released the name of the suspect. A weapon was recovered.
