Decomposed body found by Bucks train tracks

Authorities are investigating after decomposing human remains were found near train tracks in Bucks County.

Falls Township police said Wednesday that officers were called to the Amtrak tracks near Tyburn Road and Old Route 13 at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a dead body.

It wasn't immediately known how the person died, and no other details about the person were available due to the advanced state of decomposition, police said.

An autopsy is being conducted.
