Two dead, two wounded in Atlantic County
Police in Atlantic County are investigating whether two men who arrived at an Atlantic City hospital Sunday morning with gunshot wounds are connected to two men found dead from apparent gunshot wounds inside a Red Roof Inn on East Absecon Boulevard in Absecon.

Police identified the dead men as Diante Owen, 22, of Pleasantville, and Gerald Alvarez, 22, of Mays Landing.
Officials of the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division, in Atlantic City, where the wounded men arrived, could not immediately be reached for comment.
Authorities asked anyone with information about the shootings to call the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office major crimes unit at 609-909-7666, or the Absecon Police Department at 609-641-0667.
