Parking Authority warns of fraudulent unpaid-ticket e-mails

The Philadelphia Parking Authority warned Monday of bogus e-mails asking potential fraud victims for payment of unpaid tickets. "The PPA never asks for payment through e-mails," said Vincent J. Fenerty Jr., executive director of the Parking Authority. "The only valid request for payment for outstanding parking tickets is conducted through the U.S. mail."
