Preservation of Pope Farm is approved

DOYLESTOWN The Bucks County commissioners

on Wednesday approved spending $480,000 to preserve a farm in the upper end of the county.

The Pope Farm is located on West Thatcher Road in Haycock and Richland Townships. The county helped to buy and preserve the development rights of 76 acres.

To date, Bucks County has helped preserve 161 farms totaling more than 13,000 acres across the county, officials said.
