You name it, we got it: Snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain

It's another messy workday in the Philadelphia region, picking up where Friday afternoon left off.

It's another messy workday in the Philadelphia region, picking up where Friday afternoon left off.

But brace yourself for a jolt into a spring-like rush later this week and even a possible thunderstorm.

The area saw a mix of snow and sleet through the morning. By early afternoon, that precipitation had become freezing rain, and the National Weather Service says we can expect periods of rain later this afternoon.

Today's high of 37 should ensure that any ice or snow makes a hasty retreat. Little accumulation was reported this morning -- less than half an inch in most areas, according to preliminary weather service data.

Tonight should see mostly rain before 8 p.m. with a low of 36.

Tuesday brings a chance of drizzle, but a high of 51 and a low of 45.

Then, Wednesday blows in with a chance of showers, a high near 60, winds gusts of up to 20 m.p.h. and a chance of a thunderstorm at night.
