Southwest Division detectives are looking for two armed men they say tied up and robbed a 16-year-old boy in a home invasion Friday afternoon in West Philadelphia.

According to investigators, the two men entered the apartment in the 200 block of South 48th Street just after 3:30 p.m. The suspects reportedly pistol-whipped the teenager, who was home alone at the time, striking him in the back of the head. Police said the robbers tied up their victim with a belt and telephone cord and took about $2,000 and jewelry from the house before fleeing.

Investigators said late Saturday that they still don't have any suspects. They described the intruders as black males, each about 6 feet tall and of medium build.    - Suzette Parmley
