Fred P. Barakat, 63, was attacked by three men - two wearing masks - about 6:20 p.m. at his home in the 300 block of Hillendale Road in Pennsbury Township, said Trooper Corey Monthei. He was taken to Crozer-Chester Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Barakat is a bankruptcy lawyer with offices in Chester County and Delaware. The one assailant who was not wearing a mask was a white man, 30 to 40 years old, about 6 feet tall, with short blond hair. The attackers fled in a white or cream-colored Mitsubishi Diamante. - Robert Moran
