Students hurt in Camden school bus crash

Several students were brought to Cooper University Hospital with minor injuries after a school bus accident in Camden, a hospital spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon.

Several students were brought to Cooper University Hospital with minor injuries after a school bus accident in Camden, a hospital spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon.

The bus was carrying students from a Camden charter school, a city police spokesman said. He did not know their ages or other details.

The children had not been admitted to Cooper as of late afternoon, said Cooper spokeswoman Lori Shaffer. She could not immediately provide the conditions of the injured students.

Camden police said the school bus, and two vehicles were involved in the afternoon crash at North 27th Street and River Avenue.    - Darran Simon
