Man killed, two injured in Camden ATV crash

A 22-year-old man was killed and two women were injured, including one critically, when an ATV slammed into the side of a car Thursday afternoon in Camden, police said.

A 22-year-old man was killed and two women were injured, including one critically, when an ATV slammed into the side of a car Thursday afternoon in Camden, police said.

The man, a Pennsauken resident, was operating the ATV with a woman passenger on Pine Street at Memorial Avenue when they rode through a stop sign and crashed into a gray Mazda sedan that was entering the intersection at 4:13 p.m., police said.

The passenger, a 20-year-old Camden resident, was reported in critical condition at Cooper University Hospital. The driver of the Mazda, a 53-year-old woman from Audubon, suffered minor injuries. The accident is being investigated by the Camden County Fatal Crash Investigation Team.
