Two men were critically wounded this morning in separate shootings in Northeast Philadelphia, police said.

They said a man in his early 30s was hit in the face, head and upper torso by a shotgun blast during an apparent home invasion robbery about 5:30 a.m. on the 4600 block of Mulberry Street in the East Frankford section.

He was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

Police were looking for at least two masked men.

At about 11 a.m., a 36-year-old man was shot multiple times in the chest, abdomen and legs on the 1500 block of Wakeling Street in Frankford, police said.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where, police said, he was in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
