Two Philadelphia men were killed in separate shootings late Friday and early Saturday, police said.

Shortly before midnight Friday, a 22-year-old man was shot several times in the chest in the 100 block of West Westmoreland Street in North Philadelphia.

The victim, who was not immediately identified pending notification of his family, was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 12:17 a.m.

At about 1:17 a.m. Saturday, police responding to a report of a shooting found a man lying in the 800 block of North 50th Street in West Philadelphia. The 36-year-old man had been shot once in the stomach and was pronounced dead at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at 1:41 p.m.

No arrests were made in either killing.
