Man Injured in City Fire

An abandoned warehouse in Northern Liberties caught fire Sunday afternoon, injuring a 33-year-old man and sending clouds of smoke billowing into the sky, authorities said.

Fire officials were unable to provide details on the man's injury, but said he was listed in stable condition at Hahnemann University Hospital.

The three-alarm blaze, in the 1100 block of O'Neil Street, was reported at about 2:40 p.m. and was brought under control by 4 p.m., authorities said.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire.
