Police: Wounded woman not target

A 24-year-old woman who was critically wounded when a man sprayed gunfire down a Kensington street Sunday night apparently was not the intended target, police said.

The gunman fired at least six bullets down the 2000 block of Vici Street, hitting the woman in the chest about 8 p.m., police said.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where she was reported in critical condition following surgery police said.

The gunman, who was said to be about 22 years old, is being sought.
