On Friday, an unemployed Florida woman claimed a Powerball jackpot worth $38.9 million in cash.

Then Saturday night's drawing yielded another winner, as a single ticket sold in Louisiania matched all the numbers to win a top prize with an estimated annuity value of $87.5 million. The numbers were 1, 16, 17, 41 and 57, with a Powerball of 15.

Three tickets - sold in Florida, Indiana and North Carolina - each won $200,000 for matching the first five numbers.

The jackpot rebooted to $20 million, or $10.7 million cash, for Wednesday's drawing.

Last Wednesday, the Philadelphia area produced a couple of big winners in Powerball. A ticket worth $1 million was sold in West Chester at the Sunoco at 1165 West Chester Pike. A $200,000 winner was sold in Willow Grove at a the Gulf station at 3500 Moreland Rd. Both tickets had the the first five numbers - 1, 11, 20, 25 and 27, but not Powerball of 2. The West Chester ticket was boosted by the Power Play multiplier option.

Mega Millions, the other major multi-state game, has a $42 million annuity up for grabs Tuesday night, because no one hit all the numbers Friday night. Four tickets won $250,000 each for matching the first five numbers - 11, 30, 40, 48 and 52 - but not the Mega Ball of 42. Illinois sold two of the tickets, Calfornia and New York one apiece.

Elizabeth Choras-Hanna, 35, of Hollywood, Fla., stepped forward last week to claim the July 10 Powerball jackpot, which had an annuity value of $73.8 million.

The out-of-work medical assistant said she'd share the money with her twin sister, Alexandra, a firefighter and paramedic, and Alexandra's retired firefighter husband.

After all, the purchase was made while the twins were together at a Royal Palm Beach supermarket.

"We always go grocery shopping at Publix together and before we leave we buy one Florida Lotto and one Powerball Quick Pick ticket," Elizabeth said. "Alexandra's husband was out of town so we decided to pick out a DVD from the movie rental box and while we were waiting for the movie I went to buy the tickets. The next day I went to another Publix and had them check my tickets and discovered our ticket was the jackpot winner."
