Weather: Back into the 90s

After two days with highs in the 80s, the mercury is set to climb past 90 today and Thursday, according to the latest weather forecasts.

But it will be back into the 80s on Friday and the weekend, the National Weather Service says.

The highs Monday and Tuesday were 87 and 88, respectively.

There's a chance of showers and thunderstorms today and Thursday but it looks like it will be rain free Friday and Saturday with precipitation making a possible return on Sunday.

Nighttime lows will be in the 60s and 70s.
