Police suspect foul play in the death of a man whose body was found Sunday night in the Neshaminy Creek east of the I-95 overpass in Bensalem Township

The man, who appeared to have been in the water for several days, was wearing a silver chain and cross around his neck bearing the inscription: "I am a Catholic. Please call a priest."

He was pulled from the water about 9 p.m. Sunday. He is described as white, in his late 20s, about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds. He had dark hair and was wearing prescription glasses, a red or maroon short sleeve shirt, dark jeans and black Converse All-Star sneakers. Police on Monday night said his death appeared "suspicious."
