SEPTA shows off new rail cars

SEPTA is showing off two of its new Silverliner V passenger train cars at Suburban Station.

The pair are the first of 120 cars SEPTA has ordered to replace aging passenger trains.

The new trains, which have video screens, will be on public display today through Thursday on Track 0 at the station.

The cars still need to undergo additional testing before they are put into service.
