Law enforcement officials are seeking the public's help to capture a bank robber who has struck at least three times in two weeks, all on Rising Sun Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

Law enforcement officials are seeking the public's help to capture a bank robber who has struck at least three times in two weeks, all on Rising Sun Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia.

The latest heist occurred about 2:50 p.m. yesterday when the man walked into Citizens Bank Branch at 7248 Rising Sun Ave. and passed a demand note, the FBI said.

He fled on foot with an undermined amount of cash.

The same bandit is suspected in robberies at a PNC Bank branch at 6705 Rising Sun Ave. and a Bank of America Branch at 6425 Rising Sun Ave., both on Oct. 27.

The robber is described as a black male in his late 30's, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-2, with a medium build and a closely ely cropped salt-and-pepper mustache and beard.

In yesterday's robbery, he wore a black or dark baseball cap with the New York Yankees "NY" logo on the front, a light-colored button-down shirt with vertical stripes, and a tan jacket with a darker collar and lining, the FBI said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the FBI at 215-418-4000 or the Philadelphia Police Department.
