PAULSBORO, N.J. - Crews are working to clean up 1,200 gallons of oil that leaked into the Delaware River from a tanker at the Citgo facility in Paulsboro.

A Coast Guard spokesman said the leak was first noticed this morning around 10:45 a.m. and has been contained.

There's no word yet on how the leak happened.

Crews are trying to skim the oil off the river's surface and are surveying two miles north and south of the spill to make sure it hasn't spread.

Booms have also been set up to keep oil from traveling up Woodbury and Mantua creeks.
