What will the weather be like on Easter Sunday?

Easter is coming and so is a big warm-up this weekend.

Temperatures soar Sunday afternoon into the 80s ahead of a cold front.

The holiday will be warmer than normal from the start. Sunrise temperatures will be in the 60s.

Lots of sunshine and warming to 80 by noon and then into the 80s in the afternoon. However, by late afternoon there is a chance of showers for Berks and Lehigh counties.

The chance of showers will increase for the rest of the region, but not until later in the evening. Confidence in the cold front's ability to touch off these showers is low, there's a chance that the showers will not develop, but we will get cooler weather next week, with or without Sunday showers.

Have a happy Easter!
