Powerball ticket sold in Philadelphia wins $2M

A Powerball ticket sold in Philadelphia's Frankford neighborhood won $2 million in Wednesday's drawing.

The ticket matched all five white balls -- 14, 25, 30, 33 and 47 -- and was purchased with the power play option.

No one, however, matched the five numbers and the Powerball of 8 to win the $40 million jackpot.

The lucky $2 million ticket was sold at Metro News, located at 5202 Frankford Ave., the Pennsylvania Lottery said.

The retailer will get a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The winner has one year to claim the prize.

Since no one hit the top prize on Wednesday, the jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing rolls over to $50 million for the annuity, or an estimated $32.6 million cash.

Another ticket, sold in Florida, also matched the five white balls. That ticket wasn't bought with the power play, so it's worth $1 million.
