Police seek suspect in Mr. Softee truck break-ins

Police are looking for a man who allegedly broke into multiple Mr. Softee ice cream trucks parked in a secured lot in Juniata Park.

Surveillance footage shows the man entering the lot at 912 E. Lycoming St. about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Philadelphia Police Department.

He allegedly forced his way inside several trucks and took an undisclosed amount of cash and ice cream products. Some of the vehicles sustained damage, police said.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male with a medium build, last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket with a reflective stripe across the front and back and light-colored pants.
