Motorcyclist killed in Torresdale crash

A motorcyclist was killed Tuesday night after a crash involving a truck in Torresdale.

Police said the vehicles collided shortly before 7 p.m. on the 9800 block of Frankford Avenue, near the intersection of Carteret Drive.

The motorcycle driver, identified only as a man in his early 20s, died at the scene.

The Philadelphia Police Accident Investigation Division was continuing to probe the crash Tuesday night. There was not yet word on whether charges would be filed.
