George Redner III was in the track area when struck by southbound Amtrak Train 663, on its way to Philadelphia from New York and ultimately bound for Harrisburg, said Amtrak spokesman Craig Schulz. None of the 304 people on board was injured. Amtrak briefly closed the tracks in the area.

Schulz said Saturday evening that the investigation was continuing.
