Man charged in fatal Camden County crash
A man has been charged with killing a woman when he allegedly ran a red light and crashed into her vehicle in Audubon last month.
The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said 26-year-old Ethan Albino, of Haddon Township, is facing charges that include first-degree death by auto in the Sept. 26 death of Julianne Mazzarella.
Prosecutors say Albino was driving north on Kings Highway when he ran a red light at White Horse Pike at about 5:10 a.m., crashing into the 33-year-old Berlin Township resident's Pontiac Sunfire.
Prosecutors said toxicology tests showed Albino's blood-alcohol content was 0.12 percent after the crash.
Mazzarella was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in Albino's Volkswagen Jetta, a 26-year-old man and a 25-year-old man, were also hurt. He is facing third-degree assault-by-auto charges related to their injuries.
Albino was also treated for unspecified injuries.
He surrendered to police on Monday.
