Gunfire in city's Olney section leaves 3 teens wounded

Three teenagers were wounded in a shooting Monday night in the city's Olney section, police said.

The gunfire erupted just after 7:35 p.m. in the 5500 block of North American Street, police said. A 16-year-old boy who was shot in the buttocks was taken by police to Einstein Medical Center. A 17-year-old boy who was grazed by a bullet in his arm and shoulder area was taken by medics to Einstein. A 19-year-old man shot in his right arm was taken by police to Einstein.

All three victims were reported in stable condition, police said.
