2 Philly men facing child-porn charges

Two Philadelphia men have been arrested for allegedly viewing and distributing child pornography.

The state Attorney General's Office said the arrests in the two unrelated cases were the result of undercover investigations.

Prosecutors said 54-year-old Barry Burton was arrested Wednesday on charges that include 20 counts of possessing child pornography and three counts of distributing.

Agents conducting an online investigation traced a computer sharing media files with suspected child pornography over a peer-to-peer network to Burton's Germantown home, authorities said.

In a separate investigation into child-pornography distribution, agents traced a computer sharing explicit images of children to 28-year-old Kareaan Moss.

Prosecutors said agents seized a computer with more than 36 explicit images and videos from his residence in Hunting Park.

He was also arrested Wednesday and is facing charges that include 15 counts of possessing child pornography and two counts of distributing child pornography.

An Allegheny County man was also arrested in a third unrelated case announced today.
