Polling Essentials

Election Day is Tuesday for the 2017 primary. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the ballot will be candidates for the statewide Supreme, Superior, and Commonwealth Courts, as well as Common Pleas and Municipal Courts.

In Philadelphia, voters will also choose their party's nominees for district attorney and city controller. Additionally, there are two ballot questions all voters will be asked to decide: one on procurement protocols, and the other on creating a city commission to coordinate public and private redevelopment efforts.
