A 30-year-old man was shot in the abdomen, right buttock, and twice in the right arm around 9 p.m. in the 6500 block of East Wister Street. He was taken by police to Einstein Medical Center.

Twenty minutes later, a 36-year-old man who was shot in the chest and left arm drove himself to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, where he was placed in critical condition. It was not immediately known where the shooting occurred.

No arrests were reported in either case. - Robert Moran
