One person was killed and two others were critically wounded Monday night during a shooting in Mayfair, according to police.

One person was killed and two others were critically wounded Monday night during a shooting in Mayfair, according to police.

The incident occurred around 9:05 p.m. on the 3100 block of Stirling Street, police said. A 17-year-old was shot in his back, a 16-year-old was shot in the chest, and a 21-year-old was hit in his neck and collarbone.

The 17-year-old, identified Tuesday as Quantico Brunson, who lived on the block where the shooting occurred, died from his wounds shortly before 10 p.m. Monday.

The other two victims remain in critical condition.

The teenagers were taken to a hospital in a private vehicle, while police took the 21-year-old to the hospital after he walked into the lobby at the 15th District station.
