Man, 23, critical; shot 6 times in N. Philly

A 23-year-old man was in critical condition Saturday after being shot six times in North Philadelphia, police said. The shooting occurred at about 11:25 a.m. outside on the 1400 block of West York Street, police said.

The shooting occurred at about 11:25 a.m. outside on the 1400 block of West York Street, police said.

The victim, shot four times in the chest, once in his right forearm and once in his right buttock, was taken by private vehicle to Temple University Hospital. Police said no weapon was recovered at the shooting scene and no arrest has been made.
