Man, 21, found shot in South Philly breezeway

A shooting in South Philadelphia Saturday night left a 21-year-old man in critical condition, police said.

Around 8:22 p.m., police were called to the 2300 block of Ritner Street where they found the victim suffering from numerous gunshots wounds inside a breezeway next to a house.

Police officers helped the man until medics arrived on scene and took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.

A motive and a suspect remain unknown at this time, police said.
