Man, 31, dies when he crashes his dirt bike into a fence in Mantua
A 31-year-old man died after crashing a dirt bike Tuesday night in the Mantua section of West Philadelphia, police said.
A 31-year-old man died after crashing a dirt bike Tuesday night in the Mantua section of West Philadelphia, police said.
He was riding westbound in the 3800 block of Parrish Street just before 8 p.m. when he lost control, police said. He crashed into a fence and was thrown from the dirt bike.
The man, whose name was not released, was transported by medics to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 8:29 p.m. The cause of the accident was under investigation.
