Woman, 36, stabbed to death in Collingswood; husband charged

A 36-year-old Camden County woman was stabbed to death by her estranged husband, who then tried to kill himself, authorities said Tuesday.

A 36-year-old Camden County woman was stabbed to death by her estranged husband, who then tried to kill himself, authorities said Tuesday.

Police responding to a report of a domestic incident at the Heights of Collingswood Apartments, 700 W. Browning Rd., and were directed by family members to a bedroom where Joseline Perez was found suffering from multiple stab wounds shortly before 8 p.m. Monday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Timothy Moorman, 41, of Camden, was transported from the scene to Cooper University Hospital and was listed in critical condition from self-inflicted wounds. He was charged with first-degree murder.
