Police: 10-year-old girl struck by stray bullet during gunfight in North Philly

A 10-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet Thursday night in North Philadelphia, according to police.

A 10-year-old girl was struck by a stray bullet Thursday night in North Philadelphia, according to police.

The girl, whom police did not identify, was struck once in the left forearm on the 3100 block of Rosewood Street around 6 p.m., authorities said. Police believe two men were shooting at each other on the street and that one of the shots struck the girl. She was taken to Temple University Hospital, where she was reported in stable condition, police said.

No weapon was recovered and no arrest had been made, police said.
