Man, 22, shot in the face in Logan; in critical

A 22-year-old man was in extremely critical condition after being shot in the face Tuesday night behind his house in the city's Logan section, police said.

The shooting occurred shortly after 9 p.m. in the alley behind the 1500 block of West Olney Avenue. The man was sitting on a deck behind his house with at least two other people when another man approached and fired at least one shot, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.

Police took the man, whose name was not released, to Einstein Medical Center two blocks away. Small said the shooting may be connected to an ongoing argument about women. The shooter fled in Ford Taurus last seen traveling west in the 1500 block of West Chew Avenue. - Robert Moran
