Domestic altercation leaves man, woman with stab wounds

A 38-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were stabbed during an altercation late Wednesday afternoon in the city's Crescentville section, police said.

The man was stabbed in the neck by an unknown male assailant during what police said was a domestic incident just after 5:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Garland Street. Medics took him to Einstein Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.

The woman was stabbed in the left hand during the altercation. Police took her to Einstein, where she was reported in stable condition.
