3 teens shot in N. Philly

A shooting in North Philadelphia late Friday night injured three teenagers, police said Saturday. Police from the 22nd District and Temple University police responded to a report of a "person with a gun" at about 11:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of North 12th Street, Philadelphia police said.

Police from the 22nd District and Temple University police responded to a report of a "person with a gun" at about 11:30 p.m. on the 2200 block of North 12th Street, Philadelphia police said.

There, they found three victims who were injured. An 18-year-old man was shot once in the upper chest and once in the back. A second male victim, 16, was shot once in his right leg; the bullet fractured a bone in his leg, police said. A third male victim, suffered a graze wound to his right leg.

All three were taken by police to Temple University Hospital and were in stable condition.

Police said no information has been given to them about the shooter or shooters. The investigation is ongoing.
