An article in Saturday's Local News section said the Philadelphia Gas Commission had not been informed of a Philadelphia Gas Works plan to offer retention bonuses to eight top executives. PGW disputes that. PGW said in a recent filing that it had sketched out the bonus plan to the commission in May 2014. PGW said the names of the executives were redacted, but the plan itself was clearly spelled out. The regulatory Gas Commission has maintained it did not approve spending for the bonuses.
