Cops: Well-dressed man steals iPhone from Center City office
Police on Tuesday were seeking a well-dressed man who walked into a Center City office building last week and stole a woman's Apple iPhone from her desk.
Police on Tuesday were seeking a well-dressed man who walked into a Center City office building last week and stole a woman's Apple iPhone from her desk.
The man, dressed in a dark suit, blue shirt, a tie and black shoes, was captured on surveillance video entering an office at 1500 John F. Kennedy Boulevard at about 3:30 p.m. Friday.
Police said the man has a "distinctive walk." He is seen in the video walking past the woman's desk, going to another area of the office, then returning and looking around her desk.
He then steals the 27-year-old woman's iPhone - fumbling as he does so, dropping the cellphone - before taking it and fleeing.
The man is described as black, about 40 to 50 years old, and bald with a beard and mustache. Besides his nice attire, he was wearing glasses.
