Truck overturns on car, killing 1 on Pa Turnpike

One person was killed when a tractor-trailer overturned onto a car Monday afternoon on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Bucks County, authorities said.

The accident occurred around 3 p.m. on the eastbound side near the Route 1 exit, the Pennsylvania State Police reported. The fatality occurred inside the car.

The eastbound lanes were still closed at 6:20 p.m., causing major traffic problems in both directions.
