1 killed in Bensalem crash

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Bensalem, Bucks County, on Monday afternoon, police said.

The accident occurred about 1:30 p.m. on Hulmeville Road near Galloway Road, the Bensalem Police Department said.

Information about the person who was killed was not immediately available.

Police said at least three vehicles were involved in the crash and one vehicle's engine caught fire. Firefighters put out the blaze.

At least two occupants in the vehicles were taken to area hospitals, including the person who died, police said.
