Police have arrested three teens in the weekend shooting of another teen behind Archbishop Ryan High School in Northeast Philadelphia, authorities said Wednesday.

On Sunday, police arrested Jonathan Rojas, 16, of Camden, and Joshua Sanchez, 19, of Gloucester City. They were charged with conspiracy, aggravated assault, and weapons offenses.

On Tuesday, police arrested Charlie Rolon, 18, the alleged gunman, of the 1700 block of Rachael Street in Bustleton. He faces similar charges.

All three were charged as adults.

The 17-year-old victim told police he was hanging out with friends about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the back woods of the high school on Academy Road, near the baseball field. He said two males he didn't know approached him, asking him to buy drugs. He said they exchanged hostile words. A third male then came with a gun, and he was shot in the left leg after an altercation. The victim was taken to Aria Health-Torresdale Campus, where he remained Wednesday, police said. - Julie Shaw
