2 killed in daylight W. Philly shooting
Two men were killed after a shooting Thursday morning in West Philadelphia, police said. The violence broke out at 10:12 a.m. at 60th and Spruce Streets, a police spokesman said. A 22-year-old man, shot once in the upper right chest, died 35 minutes later at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital.

A 26-year-old man was shot once in the chest and once in the torso and pronounced at Presbyterian Hospital at 12:35 p.m., police said.
Police recovered a gun from that man and had been holding him as a suspect, police said.
