Two Burlington County bank robbers were each sentenced to nine years in prison Thursday for several holdups at South Jersey banks.

Shalir Hall, 22, of Edgewater Park, and David Glenn, 24, of Burlington Township, appeared before U.S. District Judge Jerome B. Simandle in Camden.

According to court documents, Hall robbed nine banks, and Glenn participated in seven of those robberies. Authorities said nearly $46,000 was stolen.

The crimes began Sept. 27, 2013, when Hall entered the Beneficial Savings Bank in Willingboro. According to court records, he threatened and intimidated the workers, demanded money, and fled.

On Nov. 14 and 26, Glenn joined Hall in two more robberies at the same bank, before robbing banks in Mount Laurel, Delran, Bellmawr, and East Windsor. Hall also robbed Columbia Savings Bank in Maple Shade on Dec. 17, 2013. The last robbery was Jan. 8, 2014, at the PNC Bank in East Windsor.

Authorities said the men took turns going into the bank and manning the getaway car.

In addition to nine years in prison, Simandle ordered three years of supervised release when they finish their sentences.

A restitution hearing is scheduled for March 24. Authorities said restitution is expected to be $30,348 for Glenn and $45,920 for Hall.
