Two tickets from eastern Pennsylvania split a recent Pennsylvania Cash 5 jackpot.
The tickets sharing the $225,000 prize from Thursday's Cash 5 drawing were sold in Philadelphia and Lehigh County, Pennsylvania Lottery officials said.
Both matched all five numbers drawn: 5, 24, 25, 41 and 42.
The lucky Philadelphia ticket was sold at Monument Mail Room & Check at 4160 Monument Road in River Park, while the Lehigh winner was purchased at the Sunoco located at 1602 S. 4th St. in Allentown.
Each winner gets $112,500. The retailers each get a $500 bonus.
The ticketholders have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.
More big paydays could be on the way for lottery players this week: The jackpots in both major multi-state games have soared to sky-high levels.
The Mega Millions jackpot for Tuesday's drawing stands at $117 million for the annuity, or $71 million for the cash option.
That's the highest top prize since an Ohio ticket won $202 million in the Nov. 13 drawing.
And Powerball's jackpot is now at $300 million, or $184.2 million cash, for Wednesday's game.
The jackpot has been rising since a Tennessee ticket won $144.1 million on Nov. 4 and is at its highest amount since Sept. 30.
