Woman, 52, dies after attack at a Tioga rooming house
A 52-year-old woman died at Temple University Hospital Saturday afternoon from injuries she received during an aggravated assault inside a rooming house in the 3700 block of N. 18th Street a short time earlier, police said.
A 52-year-old woman died at Temple University Hospital Saturday afternoon from injuries she received during an aggravated assault inside a rooming house in the 3700 block of N. 18th Street a short time earlier, police said.
Police said the assault in the city's Tioga section was reported at 3:24 p.m., and the woman was pronounced dead at Temple just over 30 minutes later.
A 54-year-old man was taken into custody. Police said no further details were available.
