Shuttle buses are scheduled to take the place of trains on the Lansdale/Doylestown line due to tree trimming, SEPTA officials said Thursday.

The project will shut down midday, weekday train service between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. between Colmar and Doylestown. Passengers traveling between those hours will be transported by shuttle bus instead.

The adjustment will begin Oct. 5 and will continue through December. - Jason Laughlin
