Mega Millions has minted its latest millionaire in Pennsylvania, with a ticket sold in the state winning $1 million in the game's most recent drawing.

Mega Millions has minted its latest millionaire in Pennsylvania, with a ticket sold in Juniata County winning $1 million in the game's most recent drawing.

Other lottery news from the weekend includes Cash 5 jackpot wins in Swedesboro and Bethlehem, rising Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots, and the launch of the latest Millionaire Raffle game.

No tickets won the $47 million top prize in Friday's Mega Millions drawing.

The Pennsylvania ticket was the only $1 million winner, matching all five white balls (13, 15, 21, 41 and 72), but missing the Mega Ball of 1.

The lucky ticket was sold at Mifflin Town Mart, located at 4106 William Penn Highway in Mifflintown, the Pennsylvania Lottery said. The retailer gets a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The $1 million winner marked the third time in a week that a lottery player from the region just missed a jackpot.

A New Jersey ticket won $1 million in the Aug. 15 Powerball drawing, while a ticket sold in Chester County won $2 million in Powerball's Wednesday drawing. Both tickets were just one number - the Powerball - off from a jackpot hit.

After no one won Friday, the top prize for Tuesday's Mega Millions game is now up to $55 million, or $34 million cash.

In other lottery news:

- Powerball's jackpot will also rise again, after no one won in Saturday's drawing. The jackpot for Wednesday's drawing rolls over to $100 million for the annuity, or $65.1 million cash.

- A Gloucester County ticket won a $153,692 jackpot in Sunday's Jersey Cash 5 game. The ticket, purchased at the Acme located at 1619 Beckett & Center Square Road Road in Swedesboro, matched all five numbers: 9, 28, 32, 40 and 41.

The grocery store gets a $2,000 bonus for selling the prize-winner.

- A ticket purchased in Bethlehem hit a $125,000 jackpot in Friday's Pennsylvania Cash 5 drawing.

The ticket, sold at Lump's Center Street Deli at 901 Center St., matched all five balls drawn: 8, 11, 25, 35 and 36.

- Tickets for the Pennsylvania Lottery's latest Millionaire Raffle go on sale Tuesday, as lottery officials announced that the popular game will now be offered four times a year.

The next drawing, in which four tickets will win the $1 million top prize, will be held Oct. 31.

Up to 500,000 of the $20 tickets will be sold.
